Who we are
White's Roofing Co is a family-owned roofing company in Bristol, TN, and has been since Bobby White's father started it in 1973. Bobby has been on roofs since he graduated in 1991. His son runs the day-to-day with him now. That's three generations of Whites on Tri-Cities roofs.

What we do
Most days we're doing one of five things. Here's what each one looks like, and the full list of what we do is one click away.
Homes
Ranch houses, two-stories, farmhouses out in the county. Residential roofing is most of what we do, and the bulk of those jobs take one to two days whether it's a repair or a new roof installation. Read more about how we roof a house.
Tear-offs
When a roof is curling, dropping granules in the gutters and leaking in three places, patching stops making sense. We tear off to the deck, fix any soft decking, and put the new roof on. Repairs
Not every problem needs a new roof. A leak around the chimney, shingles the wind peeled back, a pipe boot that dried out and split. If a repair will do it, that's what you'll hear from us. It's one of several roofing services we offer.
Metal
Metal is where the hard work shows. Steep pitches, cut pieces, dormers, flashing bent to fit right there on the job. A big custom metal roof can keep us on site four days or more. Worth every one of them.
Commercial

We are here for you year-round to cover all of your roofing needs. Bobby's dad, who started the company, is 82 and still drives out to look at jobs. Bobby and his son run the work. You deal with the family from the first phone call to the last shingle.
We're professionally trained, and we're licensed and insured to do roofing work in both Tennessee and Virginia. That counts for something in a town with Virginia on one side of State Street, Tennessee on the other, and a big lit-up sign over the road telling you so.

Service area
Our roofing company is based in Bristol, TN, a few minutes from the state line. From here we run out to Johnson City, Kingsport, Elizabethton, Blountville, Bluff City and Piney Flats, and over to Bristol, VA, Abingdon and Meadowview. We go farther into Virginia than any list shows. Lots of little towns out that way.

Since 1973. Bobby White's father started it, Bobby came on after he graduated in 1991, and Bobby's son is in it now. Fifty-some years is a long time to keep a good name in a small town. We'd like to keep it.
Depends on the roof. One bad spot on a roof that's otherwise sound gets a roof repair. Shingles curling all over, bald patches, or a new leak every spring usually means a roof replacement is the cheaper road in the long run. We'll look at it and tell you straight which one you've got.
